It is really hard to see but one morning when I woke up I went on the porch and looked out and saw the moon just above the mountain. It was gorgeous! Seriously wish I had a professional camera - it was so pretty! I would usually wake up about 6am and go downstairs and make some coffee or start the pot that Kate or April got set up. Sometimes I'd make breakfast or just relax. The McKenna kids were usually up right about the same time so we'd get their cereal out and just talk. It was so peaceful to wake up early and enjoy some quiet time before the day started. Funny how when I'm at home mornings do not feel like that at all... guess that's why we need vacations!
