David & Andrew had a field trip to the Museum of Glass in Downtown Tacoma so we went with them. It was a really fun morning. Jacob was so stinking cute! He fit right in and was so well behaved - even better than a few of the older kids there... We had a tour around the gallery first - it was very interesting. They had a very large children's section - the kids all drew a picture and then several were chosen to be made by an artist and displayed. Some of those were extraordinary! In fact - Andrew submitted an awesome drawing for the next round! We are crossing our fingers he gets chosen - it was awesome and would be beautiful in glass!

After the tour they took us to the art room to do a craft. The boys all chose to do the "cone" hat - it was the replica of the cone shaped room the hot house is located in.

Aunt Stacy was helping Jacob while I took care of Rebekah. She really did so well for the entire morning!

Auntie Stacy being silly with Jacob!

The museum is right next to the rail road tracks and by the Union Station - the guys were SO excited to see the train going by.

I'm not sure Jacob has ever seen a train like this before and he really liked it!

They had a beautiful glass display outside of the entrance so we had a to take some pictures

Me and the kids

We parked behind the Union Station and walked across the bridge to the Museum - it was cold and windy but fun to walk across the freeway and see all the beautiful glass on display.

I could not get a good picture of the displays but the wall of "windows" on the left side of everyone is full of different blown glass items. It was so pretty and fun to use our imagination of what some of the things looked like.

David is almost always the "stroller" guy for me. Andrew and him do take turns but it seems that David is doing most of the driving. Thanks Dave & Andrew!

And a parting shot of where I spent what feels like a major part of my life after high school - the red arrow marks the spot - it used to be the Sheraton Tacoma Hotel. It's now Hotel Murano. I worked at the front desk of this hotel for several years. I met so many people and made a lot of memories at this place. It was good to finally get a picture for posterity's sake... Good 'ol "T-Town" how I miss you on occasion :)
