We had a big snow storm come through on December 23. It was supposed to be a slow moving storm with lots of snow. We decided that Jake would stay in Des Moines that night since he had to work on Christmas Eve so the kids and I packed up and stayed the night at Grandma and Papa's house. We had a great time and Jacob was so excited to wake up and see all the snow on the ground. We had fun watching Papa blow all the snow.

Rebekah LOVES to stand at the window and look outside. I had to run out and get a picture of the kids watching Papa - too cute!

Jacob was even more excited to see "Bob" the Elf followed him to Grandma & Papa's house! He was in shock when he woke up and saw him in the living room! We told him that Bob had to follow him since that was his job. Then he followed us back home and slept Christmas Eve in Jacob's bed. We have really had fun with "Bob". He has been in some very crazy spots ~ hanging from the ceiling, in the bathroom, on the Christmas tree, in the kitchen, hanging on the coat rack, in the window, in a candle, on top of a lamp, this little elf sure does make waking up in the morning fun! Jacob can't wait for him to come back again next year! (Thank you Mimi & Papa! This was a great gift!)
