Thanksgiving week was interesting in the Owens household. Our car broke down on Jake's way to work on Monday. THANKFULLY my parents live here and were able to go and get him a car so he could go to work. They helped us figure out what was wrong and we ended up getting it towed into town and fixed the next week. Then Friday after Thanksgiving Jake was taking the truck to work when it broke down... THANKFULLY my dad was able to go take Jake to work and then figure out what was wrong with the truck. Friday night they got it running and home and Saturday they put in a new starter. The irony of having both vehicles break down during the Thanksgiving week... THANKFULLY, Jake's new employer is very understanding and it was not a problem for him to be late 2 days this week. On the flip side - Jacob LOVED to get his tools and go out and help Papa and Daddy fix the truck! Both vehicles are up and running ~ THANKFULLY!
