We had to move the tree to the dining room because Jacob has a little play area in the living room but it still works. We have something to look at while we eat. I'm definitely not Martha Stewart and no we don't have a tree topper. Guess we are still looking for something we like.
This is the mantle - it hold everything else on it. Jake makes fun of it but this is much easier for me than to try to figure out where in the house to put stuff. Below is Jacob by the tree. This was already a "no" corner for him because we had something else sitting there so he hasn't had any problems with not touching the tree. In fact he really likes to sit and look at the lights. That long sign standing there is my present from Jake - we found it a while ago so I kept it to put "under" the tree. It says "Forever ~ For Always and No Matter What" and I love it!
And of course even George is ready for this holiday season!

you are very nice! we have that little tree because we lived in a tiny place in Oklahoma - we plan on getting real tress from now on since we now live where that is possible!
