Ice Ice Baby

So of course Friday it was almost 40 or 50 degress (which as of late was VERY warm) and all the snow and ice was melting. Jake came home from work and we tried very hard to clear as much of the ice layer as possible on the driveway and sidewalks. We got a lot done and were exhausted. Thank you to Auntie Stacy for watching the baby so I could actually help Jake this time! Well then when I got up Saturday morning I realized the snow was almost all gone on the grass and everywhere else! Note to self: Next time before all that manual labor watch the stinking news! LOL! Well then came Saturday night or actually very early Sunday morning. There was a big thunderstorm but it was now below freezing. Above is Stacy's car (which took Jake almost 45 minutes to fully de-ice so Stacy could go home). Then below are just some pictures from around our house. It truly is beautiful when it's icy like this. Even if it's a pain (like not being able to go to church because the garage door is iced shut). Enjoy :)
