Here I am in my new PJ's saying - Open Presents - over and over and over until finally we all were settled into the living room and ready to start.
Here we are again with the monster stocking and it was filled with lots of little goodies :) Remember this was Jake's stocking from when he was younger :)
One of the goodies in the stocking (of course added by daddy) was the Kyle Busch Christmas M&M car. Jacob was pretty excited to have 2 M&M cars now.
And of course the "cool" slinky! It was actually played with more than most of his toys today. He would put his cars inside of it and pull it up and down and laugh. He also got another CARS sticker book that he had Grandma help him with.
He was very excited to open his gift from Uncle Chuck, Aunt Miki and Cousin Madison - they got him a cool CARS hat and gloves set and this super cool Hot Wheels car carrier!! I think Uncle Chuck knows how to shop :)
Can you tell we have a theme going with vehicles right now - He got a cool CARS pillow and blanket set. He thought it was supposed to drive so when we showed him the blanket it wasn't as "cool" as he originally thought.
Then he got this cool "green" big truck that has a cool carrier on top - he tested it with some if his new CARS he just opened.
Papa and Mimi also sent Jacob a cool sleeping bag. It has special meaning because this used to be Jake's sleeping bag when he was little. He like it but wasn't too happy about having to stop playing to take a picture. Thank you Mimi & Papa for the very meaningful gift.
He also got Thomas the Train and Toby which he thought were cool!
Grandma laughed when she opened her gift of Hot Hands packets for her cold hands during winter - it also had a Pier 1 gift card in it but the hot hands will come in very handy (no pun intended).
Grandma also got this cool hanging post that a local store in town carries - they sell the signs for each season of the year. She can't wait to get her own house to hang it at.
Jacob had to help Papa open his gift that was a big tile with the family name on it. Jacob said look "reindeer Papa" - being that it's Christmas all deer have become Reindeer LOL!
Daddy got a box of his favorite Ugly Mugg coffee. It's not Illy's but its pretty darn good and a lot cheaper.
After we opened presents at our house we walked next door to open presents at MaGa's and Papa's house. Jacob was very excited that there were more presents to open. Even if they were not his. He got a Mack truck that is just like the one he loves playing with at the Sinclair house.
Jake was VERY excited to get a new Steeler's jacket.
He wouldn't give me a good smile but he was pretty excited about it. I was so excited to get a sewing machine for Christmas!! My parents and my sister went in on it and both promised to show me how to use it. I am pretty excited to learn! We'll keep you posted!!
It was a wonderful Christmas and we are very b lessed! It was great to be able to spend Christmas with my parents for the first time in many years and especially happy to for them to be able to enjoy it with Jacob!
