This is part 1 of the re-facing of our little fire place. We picked out 6x6 slate tiles that we love and loved even more when they were on sale!!
Thankfully my dad does/did this for a living so he has all the tools!! So once again we put him to work :) We had enough to finish the floor and then once we get back to Lowe's we'll get more to reface the front and then we are doing the 12x12 tiles in the entry way.
The guy working at Lowe's told me about this glaze that you seal the tiles with so we can't wait to get this all finished and see the new look! We'll keep you posted!
