Here are my two favorite guys waiting for Jacob's haircut. We did cut Jacob's hair when was maybe 6 months old but this is his first official salon hair cut!
He had to sit on my lap but he didn't freak out too bad. He was making us laugh because he kept saying "OWEEE" and "OUCH"! It was hilarious!
Derricka gave him her squirt bottle and told him to squirt the mirror - he thought that was funny and as soon as he laughed he'd say "oweee" again and we'd all just laugh. So much drama for a little guy!
I don't know how people cut kids hair and have it turn out decent - they move and wiggle so much but Derricka did a great job! He looks so grown up now!
He was most excited because she said he could pick out a sucker when we were done. He has had licks of one before but not one for himself. He picked it out and Jake unwrapped it for him. The entire way home and for about 20 minutes after he would lick the sucker and say "I like sucker!" He said it over and over and over. He was pretty sad when I said the sucker was all done and we had to throw it away. All in all it was fun and now our little man looks like an almost 2 year old!
