Christmas Eve

My mom and dad made a great ham dinner for all of us on Christmas Eve. After dinner Jake put on a Bee Movie. We watched that for a little while and then it was time to open a few presents.
My parents got Jacob his first little nativity set. It was pretty cool! He calls baby Jesus - "baby JeeJee".
Grandma had to help unwrap all the little pieces for him.
Then he discovered that all the people fit on top of the stable not just the angel.
Of course Papa "couldn't" wait for Christmas and asked if Jacob could open another present - it was hard to say no :)
It was three big trucks that light up and make noise! But it did take a little while to get out of the package. Jacob was trying to be patient but its really really hard when there are cool trucks "stuck" in the package!
He had a great time pushing them around "the track" a.k.a. the coffee table.
Then we had to do the "Freeman Tradition" of opening one present on Christmas Eve.
He was just about as excited for this gift as I remember being as a kid - new pajama's. We should have had him open the PJ's before the trucks!!
Although I will say that when we got home and he took his bath he was pretty darn excited about his new CARS pajamas. In fact I was glad it would be dark in his room because I was afraid he'd be up playing with them for a while. He was pretty excite about them when he woke up too.
