Saturday evening we had a family bbq and some of my dad's side of the family was able to come to Sheryl's for dinner. Grandma Jacki was there almost every night to hold little Rebekah. It was easier towards the end of the week because she was feeling better and actually let other people besides momma hold her!
Jacob was in hog heaven because Sheryl had a piano that he was able to play and sing along with. It was pretty fun to watch.
These were Jacob's best buddies the whole time we were there!
This is my dad's Aunt Shirley, my 2nd cousin Mandy (well she actually goes by Amanda now but I've known her as Mandy my whole life:) and her daughter Lily, and my dad's cousins wife Cathy (Mandys' mom) holding Bekah. Just wanted to get all that on the official record. Really it's like Great Grandma Shirley and Aunt Cathy and Cousin Mandy.
The kids playing outside - we were blessed with a great WA weather day on Saturday! Jacob, Mandy's oldest daughter Adrianna, David, and Andrew.
Great Great Aunt Shirley holding Bekah! She has always had the magic touch with all the kids in the family! She is also going to make Rebekah an afgan! She made one for Jacob and we wanted to be sure Rebekah had one too. That is a lost art now days - we all had them when I was growing up and the next generation and my generation has lost that... not that I plan on taking it up anytime soon I was just saying...
Our most wonderful hosts!! The Hansen Family! We invaded their lives and they welcomed us with open arms and made this such a wonderful stay!! We are so blessed to have such wonderful people in our family! We miss you guys already!

From left to right - my dad's cousin Gary (Cathy's wife and Mandy's dad), myself and my Great Uncle Donald (dad's Uncle). Donald and Shirley are brother and sister and the only two still with us out of my dad's side as far as his Aunts and Uncles and Mother go. We are hoping these two trouble makers :) will be able to come out and visit dad soon!
We had a great time and it was wonderful to see everyone! Thank you all so much for coming out to see us.
