This is how Friday morning started. I had to get a picture of the sleeping arrangements. We started with all the kids in the bedroom - the boys made a bed for Jacob next to theirs. Mom, Rebekah and I were in the living room... that only lasted one night. My mom decided that a solid nights sleep was important enough to brave the "BOY" room :) She slept next to Jacob which has risks of its own. He moves around like he's riding a bike all night long. We had to roll up some blankets and put them between them so he'd run into that instead of her :) So anyways back to the Friday the Party Day!
Uncle Paul, Aunt Jan, and the Owens go the boys Band Hero for their Wii for their birthdays! The box had come on Wednesday but we told them they had to wait until Friday to open it and then we said Friday morning to which we set a time of 10am so we didn't have 2 boys up at 5 am ready to open gifts.
It didn't take very long to set it up and they were jamming.
Such concentration by Andrew - he had his tongue out and was really doing well. The funny thing about this picture is that after this song they traded and decided that David's favorite were the drums and Andrew liked the guitar the best.
Jacob had to get his playing time in too. He was cute because he had to make sure his foot was on the pedal the entire time he played. The boys played for a while in the morning then we spent the rest of the day getting ready for David's 12th birthday party.
After everyone got their David was able to open presents...
The first thing he opened was from him mom - a cell phone - as you can see he was VERY excited - he could not believe it and fell on the floor with excitement!
He also got a certificate for karate lessons from his Aunt Karen & Uncle Steve! I can't wait to hear how it goes. We really hope he likes it because it is so much fun!
Theresa and Tom got him Dale Earnhardt Jr signs for his room from Daytona, Florida - he was VERY excited about those too.

We all let off the poppers that shoot out confetti and string after we sang Happy Birthday! It was so nice of them to have David's birthday a few days early so we could be there to celebrate with everyone!
