Visitors!!

While my parents were visiting my mom's cousin Linda, her husband Steve and their little dog Scooter came for a visit. We had a great time with them. Linda , Jacob and Scooter were looking out the window for some squirrels. The day that Linda and Steve were heading home we went up to town and had breakfast at the Windmill Cafe and then hit the bakeries. Grandpa took Jacob outside for a walk after they were done eating so we could finish up.
Jacob's new thing is grabbing your hand and walking with you or just grabbing your hand so he can take you somewhere - for a long time he did not want any help or to hold anyone's hand. Now it's like a game for him - after dinner he'll grab his daddy's hand and take him over to the living room so they can wrestle. It's pretty funny!
We really enjoy it when Steve and Linda come to visit! I think this may have been the first trip that did not entail a major house project on our part that they end up helping with however, Steve, dad and Jake did fix the riding mower!! Thank you so much guys!
Grandpa and Jacob looking in the bakery window at Grandma and Linda. At first Jacob was not too sure about being on Grandpa's shoulders but then he started waving and having fun.
Here is the crew! Grandpa, Steve, Grandma, Jacob & Linda!
Jacob really does take after his daddy and he gave Linda a hard time this whole trip. He would run away from her laughing and he would not share any of his food with her. She would ask for him for a bite and he'd shake his head no and sometimes say 'no' and laugh. She'd ask him for give her 'five' and he'd laugh and run away. I said he takes after his daddy and knows who he can give a hard time - good thing she is a good sport and joked about it. He sort of came around on the last day and "let" her give him a kiss goodbye. He wouldn't do 'knuckles' with him but he did give her his cheek for a kiss. Little stinker! Thank you all for visiting us! And I can not wait until Christmas - Linda made me a snowmen Christmas tree that I can not wait to put out - Thank you Linda!!
