We went to visit my Uncle Mike tonight! It was Jacob's first time meeting him. He drives these type of trucks for Roush Racing and this year drives for
Menards Racing the 98 car that Paul Menard drives. If you've seen the bright yellowish green car then imagine that color on a rig just like above.
Uncle Mike was in Newton, IA for a tire testing of the #6 truck tomorrow. He was filling in for another guy who normally drives that rig so we were able to go over and see him. It was very fun!! He opened the back and let Jacob walk around a little bit - this is in the driver's "lounge" part of the truck.
Jacob had fun playing on those steps and pointing at everything saying "wow". And you can open a little window thing and see the 2 trucks up above in the truck. He like that a lot too!
Then we put him in the passenger seat in the front. Of course he wanted to run around up there and wasn't very happy when we took him out of there or the back for that matter.
Then he walked around the truck!
He could see his reflection in the rims and thought that was funny.
Look at how little Jacob is in comparison! We hope Mike gets to come back again so we can have some more time and bring him back to our house for a visit.
