These are our best friends - Mike and April McKenna. Mike is going off to Iraq and that was the purpose of our visit with them. We are so grateful to have such wonderful friends. It is such an encouragement when you have such good Christian friends to help encourage one another and spur each other on. It was such a blessing to spend so much time with them. Please pray with us for Mike's safety in Iraq. He will be gone for 12 months away from his family. April will be with her 3 children so please also pray for her during this time.

This was so funny! Mike's mom found one of these "bumper boats" and the kids loved it so she found 2 more for the lake. Mike blew them all up and the kids were having a blast in them. There is a little handle with a motor that moves you around and also a button that will shoot water out. So one day Mike got in to play with Cole his son. It is obviously made for little people but it still works even with an adult in it.

Cole was hiding from the water.

April got in on the action but then the boys both set out to get mom. It was such a fun time. In the process both Mike and April were dumped by Mike's sister which we did get on film. Just plain old good times.

What a sweet moment! Mike was sitting with Olivia while we were hanging out on the beach.

This was as close as I got to taking a picture of Jake putting on a wetsuit getting ready to try some water sports. Needless to say he vowed it to be the last. Mike talked him into going on the innertube then hammered him on it because Jake refused to fall off. It was a good laugh but he swears to never go again. We'll see :)

Oliva waiting for someone to take her for a ride in the kayak. She loved riding in it.

Liam was having fun playing with Jacob. Liam is the McKenna's youngest nephew.

I wish I would have zoomed in closer but I took this because he makes the funniest lips when he grabs for things. So this was just a picture from the beach when he was making that face.

This is a picture from the top balcony down to the beach area.

Olivia loved "the baby" as she called him. She was always loving on him and saw the pacifier and thought she'd try to give it to him.

This was the same day and she found her little brush and tried to brush what little hair he has. Jake kept saying he didn't want a girl because she would end up being cute like Olivia and funny and have him wrapped around her little finger. Olivia was a little firecracker. She is 2 years old and very independent. She always had us laughing.

This is Cole. He is the McKenna's middle child. He is the sweetest boy! He loved to play with Jacob and was so gentle and kind to him.
