Jake and Jacob went up to Walmart for a few things and Jacob came running in the house with the BIGGEST smile on his face and a light saber in his hand! I guess its the rite of passage for every young boy... He was especially excited because it came withe a dvd of a few fight scenes from the Star Wars movies. He had to sit down immediately and watch those.
Our little Jedi and his game face! He has only seen bits and pieces of some of the Star Wars movies but we do have the Star Wars Wii game and he LOVES that. That is his main reference point for all things Star Wars.
Sorry for the poor quality photos but I had to include them because they are just too good to pass up... Jake told him after he watched the dvd it was time for some Jedi training... I heard lots of stomping around upstairs so we had to go check it out. They had hung a toy from the ceiling fan and then spun it around and Jacob had to try to knock it off with his light saber.
The light saber actually lights up and makes noises! So of course that meant in order to be a True Jedi he would need to...
train in the dark of course! Stay tuned for the Father's Day post to see what Jacob just HAD to buy Daddy & Papa. Bet you can't guess what it was?
