Trick or Treat

Our little Princess Ladybug :) I am sure this will not be the last time Rebekah will wear this outfit :) Not that she did anything but sit and look cute but I had to put it on her anyways.
Then we have our flying Mr. Buzz Lightyear at your service!
We got this hat to go with the costume (aka pajamas) but also got a back up because this hat would drive each of us crazy so we didn't think he'd really wear it. In fact we'll be returning it tomorrow...
And now you see why the hat was a "no-go" - It only had an opening for the eyes. And if not for the claustrophobia factor, if you know Jacob you would understand that for him to have his mouth covered and not be able to talk... well let's just say it had to come off immediately :)
And here is the back-up hat. Much better!
This year we decided to venture out and let Jacob do some real trick-or-treating. There is a church in town that has what they call Trunk-or-Treat. Church members pull their cars into their parking lot and decorate their trunks and hand out candy. It is perfect for the younger kids. We walked up to the church from Grandma and Grandpa's house.
We met up with our friends the Browne's - Devon, Kaden & Coben - aren't their costumes awesome! Christy did such an awesome job!
The last stop in the parking lot was a fireman and on of their trucks. By now Jacob was on overload - as small as it was their were still a lot of people and costumes.
Rebekah and daddy were hanging out waiting for us to finish. She was being so good and cuddled with him for a while.
Then we walked back to Grandma & Grandpa's house and went Trick or Treating there too.
Papa was more than happy to give him some more candy...

Underneath her little costume was this cute shirt!
Don't you just want to kiss those chubby little cheeks!
