Mimi and Papa arrived from California Sunday afternoon. We went over to the Sinclair's house Monday night for some great food, family and football. We almost had all three - the football game was delayed but that was ok because we had a lot of fun hanging out! A lot of laughs trying to get everyone to look and smile for a picture.

Mimi and Papa came bearing presents - Jacob was very focused and meticulous while opening the presents
They gave him a great outfit and an awesome Transformer truck!
It was hard to get the excitement into the picture - he hovered over Papa while he was opening the box - at one point the excitement was too much and he jumped up and down with a few fist pumps added in!
You might think these pictures are out of order but we'll just call this the intermission. It was dessert time - there was some ice cream and may or may not have been some apple crisp involved. I will not say one way or the other because the answer may be incriminating to those parties involved and we would not want those that were unable to be there for this said dessert to be upset.
During this brief intermission Uncle Charlie was figuring out how to transform the transformer! Of course it did not take him very long to figure it out! But when we got home I realized that someone turned it back into a truck so now Jacob asks every 5 minutes when he gets to see Uncle Charlie because he is the ONLY one who can fix it.
Then Jacob opened up his sisters gift.
An awesome little outfit! Perfect for this fall weather!
Uncle Charlie was having a conversation with Jacob on the telephone.
Jacob had the cell phone and was walking around for most of the conversation but then he ended up playing with some toys after a while. At the beginning was walking in circles just talking. He would walk by to be sure that whoever he was calling was actually talking into the phone before he'd walk away again. It was a great time and when Jacob was hugging everyone goodbye he told them he'd "See you tomorrow" and the entire way home he kept asking if we'd "See them tomorrow" and when he woke up today he asked if it was "tomorrow". He loves his family!
