This is Andrew. He is Sheryl's son. David and Jacob are on an earlier post. He loved Jacob and Jacob loved laughing at him.
This is my family. Sheryl, Jacki, my mom, Andrew, David and Jacob. We spent Saturday night over at Sheryl's house because she has a window A/C unit and it was soooo hot outside. Not very many people have A/C in the older houses in WA and we had been out in the heat all day at the picnic so we decided Sheryl's was the best option.

Here are Jacob's three grandmas! From the left its Sheryl then Jacki and then my mom. We really had fun in Washington last week. I was so happy that my family got to meet Jacob. We really missed seeing Jan (another friend). We were all talking about how long everyone has known each other. Sheryl and Jackis parents and grandparents were friends. Jacki family "adopted" my mom and took her with them to do family things. They have all really been friends since around kindergarten. The rest of the friends were at the picnic except Jan O. I was introducing Jacob to our the neighbors that live next door to my mom. You see my mom has lived in this house since she was a baby. Her parents owned this house. The neighbors moved in when my mom was around 5 yrs old. They will have lived in this house for 50 years in July. (Sorry to give your age out mom) Then she moved away and when my grandma passed away we moved back to WA from Alaska. So I was about 5 or 6 when we moved in. So the neighbor Coleen and I were saying that she watched 2 generations grow up from that young age! And now she was meeting my son. If my parents don't move from WA then she will see a 3rd generation grow up. If they do move we promised to come back and visit whenever we are back in WA state. Now Jake and I hope to give that same legacy to Jacob here in Pella. He will always have his family in WA but his roots will be grounded here in Pella.
