Happy 1st Birthday Jacob!

We went to Washington to celebrate Jacob's 1st birthday with my family and friends. We had a great time!!
My mom asked my cousin to make Jacob's birthday cakes and you can see their humor in the one below!
Below Andrew was showing Jacob how to play with some of the toys our friend Theresa let us borrow. Thank you TeeTee!!!
Jacob and Olivia - aren't they both so precious!
Cole brought a lego thing that the boys had fun putting together during the party. David and Andrew had fun helping him.
And then it was time for cake!
He really likes the frosting!
When he got to the cake he thought it was more fun to squish it in his hands then to eat it. We cleaned him up as soon as it was more fun to squish the cake in his hands rather than to eat :)
Then it was time to open presents.
The McKenna's drove across the state to enjoy Jacob's birthday with us. We are so blessed to have such good friends! We truly miss the McKenna's! So below is Jacob opening the present that Cole picked out for him. It's a cool dumptruck with a driver and a load of dirt. Jacob LOVES this dumptruck!! Good job Cole!
And then Jacob's Great Great Uncle Donald picked out a singing bulldog for Jacob's gift. He started to imitate it right away.
Then he started to try to bite the dog's mouth since it was making a biting motion while it sang. He provided great comic relief!
Jacob received a very special gift from his Great Great Aunt Shirley. She made Jacob his very own afgan! It is beautiful!
Below is Stacy with the kids.
Cole and David hit it off and had fun playing together.
Jacob with his Grandma at the end of the day!
And Jacob and Grandma Jacki having fun laughing at Uncle Matt.
And then my favorite photo of the day - Andrew's mouth after eating his candy from the goodie bag. In fact it was still on his lips and teeth and tongue after we brushed his teeth twice!

How fun! Can you believe he's one allready?! Anna's birthday is in a week! She's having a monkey party (though not Curious George, just monkey). Rylie's birthday is the week after that and she'll be 4!!! It goes sooo fast! I think you'll really enjoy this next year, ecspecially as he starts talking more. It's so fun to hear what they are thinking! I'm glad we get share this time of mommyhood together, even if it's only through the computer!
