In our family LOWE'S isn't just LOWE'S it's Jimmy Johnson LOWE'S! For some reason Jimmy Johnson is Jacob's favorite NASCAR driver. Well LOWE'S has classes that you can sign up for and you go build stuff! I saw that one project was to build Jimmy Johnson's racecar! Of course we HAD to go to that class.
Daddy (and Mommy too) got the car all set and Jacob hammered in the nails once we had them started. Jacob was staring at everyone around us a little more than he was interested in lining up the car in the right place for the nails. There was a lot of kids there and lots of banging and noise. Luckily, Rebekah did not mind and was pretty entertained the entire time.
Daddy put all the stickers on the car and then Jacob was VERY excited to have the finished product! We even had to try it out down one of the aisles on our way out. It was a great class! The kids even get an apron and a patch you can iron on for every class they attend, along with a certificate of completion. What an awesome FREE outing! And in case you didn't notice - in protest Jake wore all of his Kyle Busch gear... It really his hilarious that Jacob picked someone that Kyle Bush truly competes with to win. We have some very exciting race days around here especially when Kyle and Jimmy are both in the front towards the end of the race.
