We had a little family gathering for Jacob's 2nd birthday today. His actual birthday is on Wednesday but Auntie Stacy was able to come up for this long weekend so we celebrated a few days early.
The Sinclair family, Auntie Stacy, and "Maga" (aka Grandma) and Papa were all here to celebrate. The Sinclair's gave Jacob some CARS fruit snacks and toothbrush along with this cool Fisher Price Castle.
Daddy got Jacob this cool CARS race track. Papa went to Walmart to get batteries (oops for not planning ahead on that one!).
Maga, Papa & Auntie Stacy got Jacob a new set of bubbles! Jacob LOVES his bubbles! They have been a fun thing to do inside with all the snow we've had this winter. His favorite thing to do is blow them for Buster :)
We also got him several new CARS to add to his collection.
The boys helped Jacob open up his cars and set up his new toy!
This about sums it up - See all the boys in the background - Noah and Jonah were putting together the racetrack and Elijah and Micah were opening up the new cars while Jacob was playing with his Lightnings.
Papa came back with the batteries just in time! This thing shoots the cars up and around the entire track. It's pretty cool!
We also scored big time on a huge lot of Rescue Hero toys and all the family pitched in so we could give it to him for his major birthday gift. Jacob was having fun chasing Micah and Elijah around the living room with one of the new trucks.
Aunt Miki, Uncle Chuck and Cousin Madison also sent another gift...
An AWESOME train t-shirt!
Mimi and Papa also sent a Valentine's gift - A sweet monster truck! Just look at his how Jacob's eyes light up!
Jacob and his famous look of concentration = tongue out with his new truck.
And they also sent a sweet new sippy cup with his name on it!
Jacob picked out a Thomas themed birthday party. We did just a basic little cake and ice cream and enjoyed time with family.
When we started singing he got all goofy and I think maybe even a little shy that all of us were singing too him. It was pretty funny!
Then he grubbed on his cake and ice cream!
Yummy!
Maga and Jacob were having fun batting the balloons at Auntie Stacy's face! Thank you to all of our family for your help and generosity! Jacob had a great birthday and we can't wait to play with all of his new toys!!
