We love where we live and all of our huge trees until it's fall and then we say "ughhhhhh!!!". But it only happens once a year so we try not to complain too much. This is the first fall that Jacob is old enough to really enjoy playing outside and he LOVED it!
Jake would rake big piles and Jacob would destroy them - running through them, jumping in them, kicking them all around - it was great fun!
He would go way back so he could have a running start and try to make it all the way through the pile.
Depending on the size of the pile he would make it all the way through or crash towards the end. All in all we did manage to get most of the leaves up but there are still quite a few on one front tree so this will not be the last clean up day.
One of our neighbors told us about a guy he used last year that comes and basically vacuums up all of your leaves and it was very cheap in comparison to all the work it takes for the two of us (well mostly Jake) clean it all up. I think we know what we'll do next fall!
